Beccy is an award-winning filmmaker who specialises in creating powerful, emotive films for social justice and environmental organisations. Her work spans both the B Corp and broadcast sectors, and she frequently collaborates with artists and galleries to produce bespoke film installations. She has a particular interest in exploring the intersections between human rights and the environment.

As a freelance editor, Beccy recently worked on the BBC feature documentary Gateways Grind, which explores the legacy of London’s longest-running lesbian club. The film premiered at BFI Flare and has been widely acclaimed by broadcasters and international film festivals.

With a background in TV drama, feature films, and broadcast production, Beccy has worked internationally on documentaries and natural history films for the BBC, National Geographic, Discovery, Animal Planet, and Channel 4.

Her recent clients include Dartmoor National Park, Friends of the River Dart, The Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, The Flipflopi Project, Wellbeing Exeter, Exeter Cathedral, Libraries Unlimited, Marie Stopes International, National Children’s Homes, Five Rivers Fostering, Blue Sky Fostering, Equality Impact Investing, The Clinton Hunter Foundation, and the NHS.

Beccy is currently developing a film school in Lamu, Kenya, in partnership with the Flipflopi Project, a Kenya-based NGO focused on social justice and the environment. The school will follow the story of the world’s first ocean-going sailing dhow built entirely from recycled plastic.
